I'm not really a big Apple fan but have to say that Safari clearly has the best color management and appear to have the commitment to maintain it as a fully functional feature. Things are not hugely better at Mozilla but, at least for the moment, there are a couple of folks who seem to care and have managed to keep it functioning reasonably well despite a lack of commitment by the Mozilla developers as a whole. I've basically given up all hope that Chrome will ever have complete and solid color management. So much so than they proposed ripping out -enable-monitor-profile completely. ![]() Unfortunately most software developers (including those at Chrome and Microsoft) just don't get it when it comes to color management.Ĭhrome's limited color management has been broken multiple times and most of the developers don't seem to care much. Chrome has now has gone back to its gaudy colours thanks to the flag -enable-monitor-profile not working any more.Īny ideas on how to get it back to normal (non saturated) colours? ![]()
